Louis Liu
Chapter President

Mr. Louis Liu has 34 years of working experience, 20+ of which focused in Facility Management in multi-national companies (Motorola, eBay EachNet, CIT, Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle).
Louis brings along with him a broad FM knowledge and best practice covering Facility Planning, Operation & Maintenance, Space Management, Quality Assessment and Corporate Real Estate. Together with his strong training organization skills with rich experience such as theory, application, troubleshooting, skill assessment, summary and feedback., he is able to provide a good sense of instructional design in training programs and able to determine appropriate delivery methodologies.

2012 is the year that IFMA headquarters will conduct the Global Job Task Analysis (GJTA) for the purpose of defining qualifications and training needs for Facility Manager in different positions. In turn, the credential training programs (FMP, SFP and CFM) are to be updated accordingly. The Shanghai Chapter will work with IFMA Headquarters closely in order to be prepared to launch the FMP program in the middle of the year.
The IFMA Shanghai Chapter will also focus on the Current Trends and Future Outlook for Facility Management that was addressed by Tony Keane, the CEO and president of IFMA at the 2nd Workplace and FM Asia Summit in September, 2011. The Trends and Future Outlook will enable us to better understand what will be our direction and how we can better serve internal or external customers within the FM industry in China.

Natina Wong
Vice President

Natina Wong has over 18 years of experience in Facilities Management. Her experience spans over client and service provider sector, this means she has a great perspective in managing client expectation and facilities operation.
Natina Wong holds a MBA from University of Western Sydney and CFM.

Natina Wong is Head of Commercial Accounts for IFM China with Jones Lang LaSalle. In addition, she is also department head for IFM Shanghai office.  She is instrumental in building the firm’s prominent IFM business in the commercial sector throughout Asia Pacific. She is part of the IFM China leadership team. Her primary focus is to oversee all commercial including all international/investment banks operating and all major international retail brands in China.
Prior to China, Natina was Head of Hong Kong, Integrated Facilities Management. Natina also accomplished a Due Diligence study for the Royal Bank of Scotland, which led to her role as the Regional Account Director overseeing ten countries in Asia Pacific for the Bank.
In addition to Natina’s responsibilities in Jones Lang LaSalle, she is actively contributing back to the IFM community by participating in IFMA Hong Kong Chapter and acting as the external moderator for DFM for City University, SCOPE.

Joanne Cheung, CFM MBA
Treasurer for Shanghai Chapter of IFMA

Joanne CheungJoanne Cheung is elected to the Treasurer for Shanghai Chapter of IFMA. In her role as Treasurer, Joanne is responsible for managing and controlling the Chapter funds and to ensure the overall fiscal health of the Chapter.
Joanne is a Certified Facility Manager since 2005 and over 10 years practical facilities management experience in Hong Kong; China and in the Asia Pacific region.

Currently Joanne is working for Nike as Facility Director for Greater China Region. She is responsible for the transition of the Shanghai Campus from project to operational state as well as oversee the facility service within Greater China Region. Piror to joining Nike, Joanne worked as the Portfolio Manager  for Eastern China with Microsoft China. Her key responsibilities include account management; process management; people management; establishing policy, standards, procedures and guidelines for facilities operation; strategic planning, budgeting and reporting; identifying and tracking performance metrics; Other than facility management, she is also responsible for Real estate and project management.

He is a licensed architect and the former Chief Technology Officer of Satellier, Inc., the industry leader in global Workshare solutions and BIM services, for the design, construction and real estate industries.  Paul is also the former Vice-President of Land Development and Home Production Processes for K. Hovnanian Homes (NYSE:HOV), the 6th largest home builder in the United States.  He is a prominent and highly rated speaker at numerous industry events around the world each year and has been appointed as a guest lecturer at leading universities throughout the world. A former Board of Director of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), Paul is a co-founder of IFMA Shanghai, the first Western professional industry association in the People’s Republic of China.

Timon Smith

Timor SmithMr. Timon Smith was the first IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management Software) solution representative to successfully enter the Mainland China market. While at ARCHIBUS, Timon oversaw the development of dozens of IWMS implementations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China including Huawei, Capital Steel and Hong Kong University among others. His passion for the Workplace & Facilities Management industry drove him to co-found the IFMA Shanghai Chapter, Mainland China’s first FM-related association. He currently sits on the Chapter’s Board of Directors.

Under his current role, Timon oversees the technology business for FacilityOne including IWMS and FM-related BIM services. With FacilityOne, he has led and participated in projects totaling over 24 square kilometers with both Chinese and Fortune-500 clients.
Mr. Smith also successfully led an initiative to set up an ARCHIBUS Learning Center at Tongji University, widely regarded as one of the top two Real Estate-related universities in China. Additionally, Timon is a Regional Liaison for the IFMA Foundation where he hopes to be able to facilitate high quality built-environment related research and scholarships throughout Greater China.
Timon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Oliver Mackay

Oliver MackayOliver joined Source Co in November 2009 and is now the China Operations Manager. His main responsibility is to oversee the China team in both of Source Co.’s sectors: Import and export and Management Consulting in Manufacturing and Engineering. He also develops relationships with new customers in the UK and Europe for Source Co.’s renewable energy solutions and is currently launching “Found”, the group’s international trading model. Oliver also represents Source Co to its international investors.

Oliver graduated from University College London in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Anthropology specializing in the fluidity of national identity. He then went on to work in publishing at Oxford University Press (OUP) where he remained for 3 years. Oliver moved to China in 2007 and began studying Mandarin. He then established the corporate training company, Bodleian, which has since been integrated into Yu-Lun Education, based at [Shanghai] Jiao Tong University. Bodleian specialized in providing niche training products using the English language to assist in nourishing soft-skills development in Chinese professionals. During this period Oliver also consulted for various UK companies including the importation of health products from the UK and Europe into China for sales in Chinese high-street stores and helped develop strategic plans for other companies intending to break into the China market.

Ron Anthony

Ron AnthonyMr. Ronald Anthony has more than 20 years experience in the Facility and Building Management industry supporting many of the world’s largest multinational corporations such as IBM, Hp, Intel, Chevron, Wyeth, GSK, as well as several Universities. Mr. Anthony has work for some of the world’s leading service providers such as Fluor Corporation, Washington Group, EMCOR, and CB Richard Ellis supporting multiple types of facilities from manufacturing, industrial, distribution and critical environments to large campus and international portfolios.

Mr. Anthony’s experience includes all aspects of building operations including technical facilities management, hard and soft service delivery, and contract management. He has had control of maintenance and capital budget is excess of 30m USD with 95% budget accuracy. Mr. Anthony is a part of the growing community in supporting the need for technology, and education to achieve excellence in the fast growing facilities management market internationally and specifically in China.
Ron was one of the original co-founders of the IFMA Shanghai Chapter in the beginning and is currently serving as the operations director for the chapter. Currently Mr. Anthony assist the chapter with marketing, operations, member recruitment, as well as promotions and development. Mr. Anthony has a driving passion to support and assist to make the Facilities Management industry in China and to be the leader in the International community.
Mr. Anthony’s educational background is comprised of many programs from several universities throughout his career. The universities attended include Pittsburg PA, Penn State PA, ODU VA, and several executive management (High Potential Candidate) institutions. Ronald’s technical background came for several in house apprentice and journeyman level programs with two of the largest industrial manufacturing companies in the USA.
